THERAPY intensives FOR WOMEN EXECUTIVES IN DC, MD, VA, SC, GA, FL, IL, VT & NM
Shed the Pain to Unapologetically Receive the Good
Private, personalized, accelerated therapy for women leaders rebuilding after loss of reputation or identity
(Phone rings)“Hello. Satya Counseling & Yoga, this is Linda.”
Caller: Hi, Linda. A friend gave me your number. I’m a CTO, mom of two, and I’m reaching out because I need some serious help.
Linda: I’m glad you reached out. Tell me a little about what you are looking for. And why now?
Caller: Two things. First, I ended up in urgent care with chest pain. Based on my Apple Watch I really felt like I was having a heart attack, but they called it stress. My partner and I also had a pregnancy loss last year that we never dealt with, and there’s some other stuff early in my career that I shoved down.
But more urgent, I have a critical board presentation next week and several journalists asking for a response to a leak. My lawyer shared that she is concerned about me.
And at home I’m snapping at my husband, zoning out when my daughter asks for help, and barely managing regular tasks. I can function, but I don’t want to live like this. And I can’t afford to make a single mistake.
Linda:
So you’re carrying a lot of grief and pressure, and then these deadlines on top of it.
I can definitely help you. A five-day therapy intensive would be the best fit for you given the timelines you’re working with. We meet three hours a day, and focus first on bringing your body back down from high alert so your mind has room to think. Then we’ll work through all the triggers that started this, using modern therapy techniques, this way you won’t have to retell every detail.
Caller:
Ok, good, because I really need assurance of privacy.
And I really don’t want to say the wrong thing at work or start a bigger fight at home.
Linda:
Yes, this is private and focused work.
You’ll tighten up your communication so you’re not making a hard situation harder. For interactions at home, we’ll make the invisible work visible and create straightforward handoffs with real follow-through. You won’t be managing everyone in the background.
Caller:
Yeah, my husband says he’ll help “if I ask,” –
but the asking is what I take issue with. But I was also raised to keep the peace, no matter the cost.
Linda: We’ll make sure to tie in both what you were taught and what your life demands now in your relationship.
If helpful, we can bring him in briefly to build household agreements; otherwise, this time stays yours.
Caller: What would I notice in the first few days after starting the intensive?
Linda:
Deeper sleep.
Less staying stuck on conversations.
Less over-explaining at work.
At home, you’ll start transitioning a task or two to be fully owned by someone else.
More present with your kids.
Fewer close-to-tears moments.
Caller: That’s exactly what I need.
Linda: Good. The next step is to schedule your intake. In that appointment, we’ll map your five-day plan, set goals, and reserve your dates. Let’s get that on the calendar.
Is this you?
A recent article, lawsuit, social media post, internal leak, or leadership misstep put your character under scrutiny, and you can feel the damaging story hardening around you.
You’re just barely holding it together in public while your body is in constant alarm: tight chest, shallow breathing, sweating through through your carefully pressed clothes and lying awake at 2 a.m. in an anxiety spiral.
Every conversation with your spouse feels like a landmine. You’re either second-guessing every word after the fact or over-functioning to avoid conflict.
Shame and defensiveness are trading places by the hour. You can’t locate your center, and the cost is bleeding into home, marriage, and your health.
You don’t just want a rebrand or more task lists to check off. You want to reclaim your voice, make genuine repair in your relationships, and choose a path forward that you can live with.
At home, your partner looks at you and something inside you softens.
The tension and mild hatred that used to simmer under every conversation has eased, and they notice the way you smile more, laugh more, and actually enjoy being with them again.
Your children stop asking, “Mom, are you mad at me?” when you’re just tired.
They see you present at the dinner table, not distracted or checked out.
They start to reflect your calm energy instead of absorbing your stress.
At work, colleagues say, “You seem different. What’s your secret?”
You’re not carrying the usual edginess of exhaustion, and decisions that once had you heavy-perspiring in your M. M. LaFleur blazer now feel natural, even easy.
Imagine this…
And within yourself, you notice the unexpected shifts:
Falling asleep quickly and waking up rested, without the middle of the night wake ups.
Feeling comfortable in your own skin again, instead of constantly insecure.
Enjoying small moments again – a cup of tea, a walk outside, even just basic silence – without feeling guilty for resting or giving into the urge to multitask.
Realizing you no longer replay the same old painful memory on a loop; it’s simply not holding power over you anymore.
These are the kinds of changes women often don’t expect could ever be possible, but they ripple through every part of life after a therapy intensive.
Introducing..,Transformation Therapy Intensive
A focused, immersive therapy experience that moves you beyond surface-level coping and into deep, lasting change
Over the course of structured, extended sessions, we target the roots of your fears –
of social rejection, burnout, anxious feelings, and self-sabotaging habits, along with the memories and beliefs that have kept you stuck for longer than you can remember.
Instead of taking months or years of weekly sessions, an Intensive helps you move through it now, so that the negative thoughts and dynamics that are claiming more and more ground in your life can finally be stopped in their path.
This isn’t just “more therapy” for the sake of it. It’s a brain and body-based reset for your whole being, and a turning point you’ll look back on as the moment you finally started to choose yourself.
Step into a private, intentional space where every detail is designed for your unique way of processing and releasing stored emotional pain.
And when I say every detail, I’m not exaggerating. I am obsessed with the quality of the services I provide, and this offer stands apart in terms of a deep, grounded and experiential therapy program.
Intensives are unique because they incorporate:
-
Instead of feeling rushed in a 50-minute block, you’ll have hours (3 per day, to be exact) set aside just for you, to allow you to go deep, without interruption. This gives your body and mind time to really sense the safety in the therapeutic environment and increases the willingness to release what has been trapped in your nervous system.
-
We’ll work with your thoughts, beliefs and sensations throughout our time together, so no part of you gets left behind. By reintegrating painful memories, so that they no longer have any trigger or charge to them, and solidifying those changes with a restorative yoga practice, we ensure that your changes are not just intellectual but also embodied.
-
You won’t be one of many on a distracted therapist’s schedule that day. An Intensive means my full attention is devoted to you and the relief you desperately want to feel. Instead of clock-watching, I’m right in there with you, playing detective and getting to the bottom of what’s been blocking you. And because of my extensive experience in this work, I am really good at helping you uncover what has remained elusive and hidden up until now.
-
Every part of the process is carefully structured to keep you grounded and held inside the therapy container. You will not have to feel like you’re “too much” or left on your own with what bubbles up to the surface.
This isn’t the kind of therapy you can just squeeze into the thin, leftover margins of your life.
This is a deep journey and a transformational process that takes seriously the extent of what you have had to carry, and how urgent it is that you be given the opportunity to let it go.
Women who step into a Transformation Intensive often describe it as the moment everything shifted.
They talk about how years of therapy felt like circling the drain around the supposed problem, but in the Intensive, something finally gave way and shifted. They’ve walked away saying things like:
“For the first time in years, the thought of that incident has no power or effect on me. Like, I know it happened, but I have moved on and I’m free of it.”
“I didn’t think change could happen this quickly, but I feel so different. I can’t believe that was all that it took after all that time.”
“My creative block is gone! Something about the work we did has freed up a whole part of my brain that I didn’t even know was affected by this.”
Some notice immediate changes in their body, like sleeping better at night, having significantly less body tension, or having more ease in social situations.
Others describe major changes in the way they take up space in their relationships, including setting boundaries without feeling they will be punished, or communicating more directly about topics that used to feel too vulnerable.
Almost all of them share one thing in common:
they leave knowing they will never see themselves, past or present, in the same way ever again.
How It Works
Step 1:Confidential Call
We’ll begin with a private conversation where you can share what’s been weighing on you, ask your questions, and decide if an Intensive is the right next step.
Step 2:Personalized Preparation
You’ll receive guidance on how to prepare for your Intensive series, both logistically and emotionally, so you step into your first Intensive day ready to make the most of the experience.
Step 3:The Intensive
Over the course of your series of extended sessions, you’ll move through the deeper work that traditional therapy can take months or years to reach. This is where old patterns fall away, shame dissolves into the background, traumatic memories lose their hold, and space opens for you to become your own person, as you want to be.
Step 4:Integration
You won’t walk away wondering, “Now what?” You’ll leave with practices, insights, and supports to help you integrate what you’ve gained into daily life. We prioritize transformation that lasts.
The Intensive compresses months of traditional therapy into focused 3-hour days. We combine:
-
to map the voices inside you (the fixer, the defender, the critic) and put steady leadership back in the driver’s seat.
-
to lower the charge of intrusive images and moments without retelling every detail
-
to break out of stuck beliefs and patterns (catastrophizing, shame spirals, feelings of powerlessness) at the level where they actually live.
-
to settle your body so your words and your choices come from truth and intention, not reactivity.
As in all my work, we also name and make allowances for the real context in which you live.
This means addressing family-of-origin expectations, unexamined gender roles, cultural conditioning, experiences unique to your race and ethnicity, immigrant stories, impact of disabilities, etc, so your plan fits your reality.
About Your Guide
Hi there, I’m Linda Sanderville, LCSW-C, RYT-200, founder of Satya Counseling & Yoga.
My mission is simple: helping highly visible women executives gather back the pieces of themselves and start living out their joy, after a major threat to their career, reputation or family life.
I bring over 16 years of experience in trauma recovery, advanced certifications, and years of leading grounding practices through yoga and mindfulness. But what sets me apart is more than just the trainings or the Ivy League graduate degree. It’s the way that I combine a fierce belief in your unique potential, with a gift for shedding light on the raw truths your own mind has kept hidden from you, and walk with you as you finally release these burdens and say goodbye to the past.
My clients often say they feel like I see both their pain and their possibilities at the same time.
I am not one to either pity, pathologize or act star-struck over my clients. I see and call forward your True Wise Self, even when you can’t quite believe in her yet. You’ll get a taste of my compassion, humor, and loving honesty in equal measure. I also purposely limit my social media and news exposure so you get to experience my attention as a clean slate, even if you are a public figure.
This work is personal for me, too.I’ve walked through my own trauma, burnout and scandal-type experiences, so I know the courage it takes to lay down the mask and admit that you don’t have it all together. That’s why I’ve dedicated my life to guiding women like you into transformation; I know that when you gather yourself back up into a full, embodied and liberated woman, everyone around you will benefit from your bravery, too.
Intensives are designed for you if you:
Are used to carrying a lot at work, at home, in your family of origin and in your romantic relationships. You are ready for real change, not just surface-level coping skills and vent sessions.
Take ownership of your growth and understand that lasting change happens when you show up fully committed for yourself.
Have invested in the best for your education, career, and family, and are willing to invest in yourself at that same level.
Value working with a trauma specialist who provides both compassion and honest, constructive feedback about what needs to shift.
Are committed to breaking cycles of burnout, over-responsibility, and self-doubt so you can live more fully in your truth.
Intensives are not for you if you:
Are in active crisis requiring emergency psychiatric care, or are seeking PR/legal advice (I don’t replace counsel or communications teams).
Want a space to simply vent, avoid vulnerability and complain about other people in your life without making changes that will redirect your course.
Are hoping someone else will “fix” your problems without taking responsibility for your role or have a tendency to view professional healers as gurus.
You want only surface level image repair without lasting personal change that addresses the deeper roots of heartache, grief, self-abandonment, burnout and false performance patterns.
Investment
A Transformation Therapy Intensive is a commitment of time, energy, and resources.
And it’s designed that way on purpose. You’re not coming here for “just another session.” You’re seeking a powerful, mind-body process that has the power to change the course of your life.
Each Intensive day includes 3 hours of focused, uninterrupted therapy.
Packages are structured based on the depth and duration of the mental health services you are ready for.
2-Day Package
$2,425
For Single-Incident Trauma
Ideal if you’ve experienced a specific event (such as a single negative news feature, an accident, or loss) that continues to replay in your mind and body. Over two days, we’ll target the trauma directly so you can release its grip and move forward without the same triggers, or unhelpful beliefs that implanted as a result of the experience.
5-Day Package
$5,275
For Long-Standing Patterns & Relationship Struggles
Designed for women who have carried heavy emotional patterns for years, including complicated grief, anxious attachment, heightened insecurity that affects social interactions, people-pleasing to extremes, and frequent relationship ruptures. This package gives us space to dig deeper, untangle old and unhelpful belief systems, and create new ways of relating to yourself, your work and those closest to you.
10-Day Package
$10,025
For Complex Trauma & Negative Self-Concepts
Best for women who know that trauma and invalidation have shaped their sense of self for decades. If extreme reactions to public challenges or stage of life stress have already left their marks on your health, career progression, and with romantic partners, this is the space that is meant to hold you. Here we do the deeper excavation so you can finally build a life rooted in your truth, not your wounds.
Why This Investment Matters
While Therapy Intensives are never the bargain basement option, you have likely spent more on a nice family vacation or girls-getaway, only to come home needing another vacation. The difference here? This treatment program targets the neuroplasticity of your brain, so these results don’t fade as soon as you unpack your suitcase.
This isn’t about escaping your life.
It’s about creating a life you don’t need to escape from.
A Glimpse into the Intensive
Day oneYou arrive guarded. You’ve told versions of this story to company lawyers, doctors, friends.
Lately you’ve also been repeatedly searching things like “therapy after a public scandal,” and “can’t sleep after a news article about me.” And yet, by the second hour, something shifts. You’re not skimming the surface anymore. You’re finally facing the moments that still spike your heart rate: the headline, that old breakup, the nasty comment threads. And your body begins to settle.
By the end of that first day, the edge softens. The memory is still there, but it no longer hijacks you. You leave surprised; not raw, not overwhelmed, just lighter. You might actually enjoy some intentional downtime instead of spending hours in a panic spiral tonight.
Day threeYour shoulders drop in ways they haven’t in years.
You notice you’re not rehearsing every sentence after conversations. At dinner, your partner gazes at you and says softly, “You seem different, in a good way.” You notice you’re actually tasting your food when you eat. After bedtime, you leave your phone in the other room and don’t miss it. You are beginning to recognize yourself again.
Final dayYou’re carrying yourself differently, with your jaw unclenched, your breath deeper.
You don’t even remember the last time you doom-scrolled your own name. You have calm, non-defensive ways of communicating with folks at work and with family at home. You start to hear yourself say things that seemed impossible mere weeks ago:
“I’m not living to be accepted by other people anymore.”
“I can lead without overexplaining.”
“I can be the kind of mother I want to be, without the constant distraction of what others think about me.”
Weeks later, the changes stick. You’re sleeping through the night. Mornings don’t start with a racing heart and obsessive thoughts.
Your kids notice you’re more emotionally available (and more like the mom they used to remember). Conversations with your partner actually lead to a deeper feeling of connection, so you don’t feel the need to avoid them anymore. You’re not waiting for the next shoe to drop; you’re just living your life again.

Intensives are primarily online, and this work if you’re physically located in one of my licensed states during our sessions: VT, MD, DC, VA, SC, IL, NM, FL, GA. I use a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform for the video sessions and private scheduling. No session recordings.
I also offer limited in-person Intensives in Albuquerque, NM for clients outside my licensed states. You book a hotel or Airbnb for your stay, and we meet in a private boardroom/meeting room for your appointments (not a guest room), and additional charges apply.
Recommended hotels include Los Poblanos, Hotel Chaco, and Hotel Andaluz for restorative stays.
-
Schedule: Daytime only, Tuesday–Friday 11am - 3pm EST. We can cluster days to balance momentum and rest, especially for in-person meetings.
-
It’s actually the opposite of “too much.” Traditional weekly therapy often feels like you’re pressing pause just as you start to open up. The Intensive allows you to go deeper without constantly stopping and re-starting. Each day I structure our work to move at your pace, with built-in grounding and integration so you leave feeling lighter, not overwhelmed.
-
Yes. Safety is foundational to our work together. We’ll move intentionally, using proven clinical approaches that allow your body and mind to process experiences without retraumatization. You’ll never be left “wide open” or raw. Resolution is part of every step within the Intensive.
-
No. ART and hypnotherapy allow you to work effectively without reliving all the details. We target what carries the most charge so you get relief fast.
-
This is a common fear. What I can tell you is this: if you show up ready, change will happen. Sometimes it’s dramatic, like the complete release of long-held painful memory or a major shift in your self-concept. Sometimes it’s more subtle, like calmer sleep, more energy, saying No more easily or laughing and smiling more often. Either way, every Intensive creates movement where you’ve previously felt stuck.
-
Transformation Therapy Intensives are private pay only, as Satya Counseling & Yoga is not in network with any insurance. Private pay more effectively safeguards your privacy, as insurance providers require a record of your treatment and a diagnosis to cover the cost of care.
If you have out-of-network benefits and would still prefer to use them, you may be able to seek reimbursement for the intake appointment and the first hour of each intensive day. This will require that I give you a clinical diagnosis. You can also use your FSA or HSA for payment.
-
Satya Counseling & Yoga is an out of network provider only. Therapy Intensives are not covered by insurance due to their length and the personalized nature of treatment. While insurance might cover “coping skills,” it rarely covers modern transformational work. This investment ensures we can do the deep diving you came here for, without red tape, limits, or a corporate system prescribing you it’s one-size-fits-all solution.
-
You’ve probably cleared your calendar before, for a work trip, an important surgery, or perhaps a family reunion. An Intensive deserves the same level of priority given the amount of suffering you are in. Many women tell me afterward that this was the most productive use of their time in years, because it gave them back the peace and emotional-mental relief they couldn’t find anywhere else.
Also, this is a great fit for those with non-traditional schedules. For busy, traveling professionals and executives with great responsibilities at work and at home, an intensive cuts out any more excuses for why you haven’t yet followed through on therapy. Our time frame is condensed and can be scheduled ahead. You may also choose to arrange for quarterly intensive sessions throughout the year if that works best for you.
-
You’ll leave with tools, insights, and practices to help you integrate the changes into daily life. Many women choose to continue with weekly therapy afterward, or return for another Intensive down the road. The difference is you won’t be starting from scratch. You’ll be building on a foundation that has already been reset by your time here.
You’re the woman people look up to.The one who makes decisions, sets direction, and holds it all together.
From the outside, it looks like you’ve built the life everyone admires. But you know what it costs you behind the scenes.
You’ve hit the point where one more sleepless night, one more fight, one more health scare isn’t an option. You don’t need another year of “coping.” You need transformation.
That’s why the Transformation Therapy Intensive is designed to feel like hitting the reset button. This is the moment you finally put yourself on the list of things worth saving.
