THERAPY FOR WOMEN EXECUTIVES IN DC, MD, VA, SC, GA, FL, IL, VT AND NM

Take Back the Narrative…After the Headlines

Therapy for executives recovering from professional or personal scandal

Schedule With Me

She walks into the room and the air shifts.
Heads turn.

Her presence is poised and commanding, with the look of a woman who has learned to hold authority in the face of petty opposition and old-boys’-club politics.

Colleagues lean in; some because her words carry weight, while others are simply hoping to catch her slip. For a moment, even now, it looks like nothing could rattle her.

But this isn’t just any woman.
This is you.

And because this is you, you already know the real story:

behind the steady voice and squared shoulders, you’re fighting a private battle no one else can see, one made even louder by a headline, a leak of a scandal, or a meeting that went viral in all the wrong ways.

Inside, it feels like:

The inner committee
won’t adjourn.

One voice says play it safe and be a team player; another is done with swallowing it; a third whispers you’ll never get this right.

Every word
is a landmine.

Legal wants fewer words, Comms wants a “human moment,” the board wants steadiness and a show of strength. So you overexplain, then replay the conversation for hours.

A body stuck
on high alert.

Thoughts racing in the middle of the night, chest tightness, hands that won’t stop trembling when you finally sit still.

Two
full-time jobs.

Between calls you’re still the go-to parent: managing dentist forms, pickups, camp deposits. The calendar doesn’t care that your reputation just took a hit.

Home isn’t a
soft place to land.

Avoiding your partner with the excuse that you have meetings to get to, keeping score of who does what, avoiding the talk you really need to have because you don’t have the energy to manage both of your emotions.

Old reflexes
under pressure.

People-pleasing, overworking, numbing, second-guessing-all patterns you thought you’d outgrown returning at full volume.

Clear warning signs.

Raging at your teenager last night with words you can’t take back, the late-night ER visit that gets dismissed as “stress,” or a senior leader hinting “this might not be your year” because you are off your game.

Your name is trending where you wish it weren’t. And your inbox is a maze of “we should talk,” “statement draft attached,” and “here if you need me.”

You don’t just want a spin. You want your life back on your terms.

What Your Comeback Can Look Like

You already know it: love, leadership, and parenting shouldn't require self-erasure.

So let’s picture what you actually want – after the noise, and after the headlines.

In this version of your life, the competing voices in your head no longer run the show. They’re still there, but you know how to listen, how to settle them, and how to lead yourself. For the first time in years, you feel like one whole, integrated person.

Life begins to shift in specific, visible ways:

In your body

You sleep through the night instead of waking up replaying everything. Your shoulders drop. Mornings don’t start with a racing heartbeat.

In your voice

You stop over-explaining. You have clear, decisive words for the board, the media, your team-and at home. You know what to say and what not to say so you don’t make it worse.

At work

You make decisions without second-guessing every angle or feeling insecure in front of competitive colleagues. You set limits on access and pace, and you stick to them.

In your public narrative

You stop reacting to every hot take and start holding to a message that reflects your values. Where repair is needed, you do it without performance. Where boundaries are needed, you set them and keep them. You’re no longer living in the comments section under news articles.

At home

You don’t snap over every small thing. Laughter shows up again. You renegotiate roles so the mental load doesn’t land back all on you, and everyday connection feels possible.

In your marriage

Scorekeeping fades. Conversations de-escalate and actually go somewhere. Date nights happen – and you’re not the one planning all of them.

In yourself

Rest is protected, not earned. You set boundaries without apology. You trust your read of people and situations, and you create solutions that fit your life, not just impulsive reactions to crisis.

What once felt like self-sabotage becomes true partnership with all of your parts.

What once felt scattered becomes whole. The strength you showed the world wasn’t a mask – it was a glimpse of the leader inside you.

Now she’s in charge.

Schedule With Me

At Satya Counseling & Yoga, I help women in executive positions step out of survival patterns brought on by public damnation and rebuild their lives without spin.

My approach is private, directive, and designed for women in executive leadership who are asking very real questions like:

“How do I recover after a work scandal?”

“What do I say to the board without making it worse?”

“How do I sleep again and stop replaying every conversation?”

We work quickly and deeply, without performative optics or reliving every detail of what you’ve suffered.

The Framework
  • We start by settling the body so your mind can follow.

    • Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART): We target the moments that carry the most charge (the article, the meeting, the comments) and reduce their grip, without rehashing all the gory details. Clients often notice calmer bodies, fewer startle responses, and the ability to read email or walk into a room without preparing for disaster.

    • Nervous-system tools & trauma-informed yoga principles: Brief, practical practices to lower the physiological “constant edge,” so decisions aren’t made from a place of panic.

  • When shame, defensiveness, and overexplaining take over, you lose your voice.

    • Internal Family Systems (IFS): We map the parts running the show: the fixer, the defender, the critic. We help your calm, values-led leadership step back in. This is where you stop the replay loop, say what needs to be said (and no more), and choose actions you can stand behind.

    • Clinical Hypnotherapy: We update your automatic negative thought loops (catastrophizing at 3 a.m., scanning for threats, rehearsing conversations over and over). You’ll practice staying relaxed and in control while imagining real-world situations-board updates, media inquiries, investor meetings, or the hard talk at home- so your body and words line up when it counts.

  • We translate the inner work into simple-to-deliver communication and boundaries.

    • What to say or not say to whomever counts.

    • Limits around time, access, and availability, so you’re not living in perpetual crisis mode.

    • Where repair is needed, we plan it; where boundaries are needed, we set them.

What it feels like to work with me

Calm and warm, and direct.

I’ll slow things down when your body says “too much,” and I’ll tell you the truth when patterns are getting in your way. No crisis-of-the-week therapy. We’re here to create lasting transformation: better sleep, fewer blowups, stronger leadership, and conversations that reach clear resolution.

Formats that fit real schedules

Weekly sessions

50 minutes, $300

Consistent, steady progress when you prefer a weekly cadence.

Therapy Intensives

3 hours/day

2, 5, or 10 day private intensives that compress months into days, and are ideal when the stakes are high or time is tight.

Context matters (and we name it)

You don’t live and work in a vacuum. We incorporate a multi dimensional lens of larger societal and historical influences on one’s mental health and how race and gender affect you, so that your plan fits your life – and actually works for you.

I’m not your PR or legal team, and I won’t try to be. My role is to steady your body, clear the mental noise, and help you choose language and actions you can live with, at work and at home.

  • A confidential, directive therapist who understands reputation fallout. I work with executive women to calm their bodies, stop the constant replay, and choose language and actions that don’t make create bigger problems in their personal and professional lives.

  • We reduce your reactivity first (so you’re not making decisions from a panicked state), clarify your choice of language, and set necessary boundaries. Where repair is needed, we plan for it; where limits are needed, we set them and keep them.

  • Yes. Using Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), hypnotherapy, and mind-body tools that support the nervous-system, most clients notice calmer nights and fewer intrusive thoughts within the first sessions. Intensives accelerate relief.

  • No. ART lets us lower the emotional charge of high-stress moments (the article, that meeting, their comments) without reliving all the specifics. You can have relief without losing valuable time.

  • I don’t replace PR or legal. I help you align your inner work with the external plan so your words and choices are consistent across all the parts of your life that you value.

  • Yes. Sessions are private pay, HIPAA-compliant, and not billed to insurance (there are no automatic employer or insurer notifications).

  • Daytime virtual sessions are available for clients physically located in VT, MD, DC, VA, SC, IL, NM, FL, GA. In-person Intensives are available on a limited-basis in Albuquerque, NM, using private meeting rooms.

  • Many feel a shift within 1–2 sessions. For faster movement, choose a 2-, 5-, or 10-day Therapy Intensive (3 hours/day) that compresses months into days.

  • Yes. We target your body’s stress responses, reduce fixation on mentions and comments, set firm boundaries, and craft clear, values-aligned responses so you’re not living in the noise.

  • Satya is private pay only. If you have out-of-network benefits, you may seek reimbursement for the intake and the first hour of each Intensive day, though you will be required to carry a diagnosis. HSA/FSA accepted.

Your Next Step

You’ve carried yourself through crises before – but only you know the mounting costs of recovering after a public scandal and not sleeping after bad press.

If a headline or investigation has destroyed
your confidence and decision making, you’re in the right place

This work is private and directive. We’ll ground your nervous system, turn off the replays, and decide what to say – and what not to say – so you don’t make your situation worse. Where repair is needed, we plan it. Where limits are needed, we set them. You’ll leave with actions you can stand behind at work and at home.

This is your invitation to gather back the parts of you that feel scattered and choose a credible comeback that protects your health, your relationships, and your leadership.

Schedule a confidential call to begin—through weekly sessions or a customized 2, 5, or 10 day Intensive.
